The Lotus-Heart is following guidelines and advice from the New Zealand Government and the Ministry of Health, with respect to health and safety.
As a team that has service and hospitality in our very hearts, we want nothing more than to continue on with business as usual – welcoming guests into our home, cooking and feeding them, and offering them a moment of escape from all that’s going on in the world.
If you haven’t visited us recently, or would like to know more, here’s an update for you on how we are working to keep you our customers, and our team safe and healthy, while continuing to enjoy The Lotus Heart Restaurant. Some of the measures we have always taken, while others are now enhanced.
Our staff are increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all commonly touched surfaces throughout the day. Including but not limited to: tables, chairs, door handles, railings, faucets, eftpos terminal and menus, spraying disinfectant on all surfaces. As always our staff are washing their hands before and after handling food, as well as increasing the frequency of which they wash their hands throughout the day. We also have hand sanitiser and colloidal silver spray by our point of sale and water station for everyone’s use.
Being together is at the heart of everything we do, and our duty of care to our team and guests matters greatly to us, therefore we are doing everything we can to help keep everyone as safe as possible.
