Breakfast at The Lotus-Heart

From groans and cries
Or heartfelt sighs
Or birdsong
You stumble forth from sleep
And usual mornings come.
But breakfast at The Lotus-Heart
A rendez-vous you'll keep.

From smiles or fears
Or unshed tears
Or tangled dreams,
However are the ways
You start your days
These usual mornings come.
But breakfast at the Lotus Heart
Much benefit you'll reap.

From reveries of gains
Or night dream's hopes or pains
Or trembling thoughts
You venture into day.

On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Christchurch will join cities around the world to take a stand against climate change.

Created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming.
