Mantra is a Sanskrit word, meaning a syllable divinely surcharged with power, In Indian philosophy, spirituality and the inner life, mantras can play a considerable role. Learn ancient Sanskrit mantras to support physical health, energy and protection.

Ashirvad Zaiantchick is a native of Brazil and long-time student of Sri Chinmoy. He has offered free courses on meditation to thousands of people in 25 countries.

An inspirational and memorable evening’s free presentation with Harita Davies and Abhejali Bernadova. Harita is the only New Zealand woman to ever compete in and complete the world’s longest certified ultra-race, the New York based 3,100 mile run. She ran over 96 km daily (more than two marathons every day) for 54 consecutive days, in the heat of a New York summer! Read more

A fascinating glimpse into the world of sound presented by Gandharva Loka world music store. Learn about the special role that music - humanity’s universal language – can play in creating a harmonious and peaceful world. This workshop explores the symbiotic relationship enjoyed by meditation, music, song and sound – with the premise that music is the sacred signature of the Divine dwelling in every heart.

Join us to explore the role food plays in nourishing the whole being. Learn how foods can be categorised by the degree they enhance or hinder physical energy and spiritual development; how food can be used as a medium to transfer feelings from one person to another; and how the foods we choose can support our efforts for personal growth and support the development and maintenance of a regular meditation practice.

Ikebana is flower arranging steeped in the philosophy of developing a closeness with nature. In this meditative workshop, floral artist Suradhuni Anderson will share techniques learnt from Gerry Arial – florist to Princess Diana and Pope John Paul II, and Junko Miura - Manhattan Ikebana Master. Create to the sound of the Japanese Koto and enjoy a selection of teas as you work.

Cost $35 which includes your arrangement to take home.
