Five consecutive evenings beginning on Thursday November 04, from 7.00 to 8.30pm
This free meditation course will introduce participants to the basics of meditation over five consecutive weeks and will encourage daily meditation practice at home. The course will include the following material.
The benefits and reasons for practicing meditation
Preparation exercises such as correct posture and breathing
Concentration techniques – calming and focusing the mind
Meditation practice focused on the spiritual heart
The role of music, mantra and creative visualisation
Setting up a daily meditation practice at home
Supporting meditation practice with lifestyle choices
As the course is progressive in nature, we advise attendance to each of the five sessions to gain the maximumbenefit. A continuation option will be available for those who wish to further their meditation practice with a weekly group meditation session once this introduction course ends.
