We ferment our own living health drinks – kombucha and kefir (both vegan and milk kefir).
Kombucha is a living health drink brewed from cultures, tasting of something between sparkling apple cider and champagne. Full of essential nutrients, active enzymes, viable probiotics, amino acids, antioxidants and polyphenols, Kombucha restores balance and vitality.
Kefir is a cultured-milk beverage believed to have originated many centuries ago in the Northern Caucasus Mountains where people are famed for their extraordinary longevity and many accredit this to their regular consumption of kefir. Kefir has a uniform creamy consistency, a slightly sour taste somewhere between buttermilk and sour cream, and a mild yeasty aroma. In recent years, scientific studies have proven that kefir is able to stimulate the immune system, enhance lactose digestion, as well as inhibit tumors, fungi and pathogens— including the bacteria that cause most ulcers.
